and now I'm a bum...

I know it's weird and some people might get mad at me if they find out, but I realized my dream is to bum around at home. Really! The truth is embarrassing though and I'm glad not a lot of people I know read this blog anymore. Which I realize is a good thing!

Finding out I had ulcer finally gave me enough reason for my wife to let me quit my present job, in which I was supposed to be regularized this week. She wasn't too happy about it, but my ulcer is causing me a great deal of pain whenever I travel, I have no choice but to stay at home. I guess now I have all the time in the world to start a home-based work or business. My wife seems to be okay with working now even if it's only a quarter of what I earn in my previous job, I guess it would do. Meanwhile I'm reviving some blogs and still working on that adsense.

To my old workmates, I know you don't know I have a blog like this and you all only see me in facebook, but thanks for making my short stay at Stream some of the best months I've had working in the callcenter. Sana nag-enjoy kayo sa EK! Senxia na di talaga ako maka byahe eh.

What's my passion

I'm 26 years old, married and with 2 kids. I'm still confused as to what my passion is.

pas·sion–noun
1.any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love orhate.
2.strong amorous feeling or desire; love; ardor.
3.strong sexual desire; lust.

Now, I'm not sure about that definition but for me, passion is what you love doing the most. At times when you're not in the mood of doing anything this is the most that you can do, and it's something that you are supposed to be very good at or atleast have an inclination to.
It's something that you like doing even in your spare time.
Time just passes by without you realizing it whenever you do this.

So why am I going on about passion? Well, it's because I've been on medical leave for 2 weeks now and since I'm just new to my company and with my regularization date which supposed to be next week, I'm not sure if I should stay in my current work or just leave because my job is in danger anyway.

Anyway to summarize, your passion would be:
1. Something you like doing.
2. Something you would do even if you don't get paid.
3. Something you enjoy enough to forget about time.
4. Something you would do to relax you in the most depressing moments.

That's basically how I understand passion. Now based on these criteria, I can think of a few things that matches it.

a. Reading manga, comics, or a fantastic book.
b. Watching a good anime, or TV series.
c. Surfing the internet.

Now, these are my passion. based on this I think having a computer shop would be the best choice for me or atleast something computer related and then probably a library. Hayzz... why don't I make an online library. Yeah, I thought about that before but I'm afraid of the legal implications of that. Hmm... If I only include old books that probably not a lot of people would mind right?

In conclusion to this rant of an article, the best solution for me if I want to change careers and follow my passion would be to:

-Probably be a writer...
-Draw manga...
-Blog about anime and books and shows, which is still writing.
-Setup my own internet cafe and library or bookstore.

hmmm... What a dream.

Right now I don't have money to accomplish that. I'm glad my parents still let me use the internet for free in their computer shop. The fact is when you get sick, all money goes down the drain. That's why passive income is so important. Anyway, I guess now I know what I want. time to go out there and find a way to get it.
