Twilight

After months of disinterest I finally gave in to peer pressure. People at work finally got me started on the twilight saga. At first I thought, who would be interested in reading a long pictureless novel afterall i've got Unlimited sources of anime and manga from the internet! Never the less some friends got me a copy of the first book so I started reading it. I'm on book 2 now- New moon. I find it more interesting than the first one, which was just full of mushy innocent love. The second book was more painful.. tragic.. pathetic.. and I just love it! I find myself relating Edward, Bella, Jake, even Charlie, since I've got a cute little daughter who would be in highschool in the next decade or so. Have finished the book though. I'm still at the part where Bella jumped off the cliff just so she could hear another hallucination of Edward's voice. I don't know who's more pathetic, Bella with her lingering feelings for someone who dumped her, Jake with his "i'm willing to wait" attitude, or Edward who is simply fooling himself by staying away from Bella but still bothering her through "hallucinations". Hahaha! but seriously, what makes this book so appealing is the effort put on describing details on Bella thoughts. Another plus is the situation the characters are in is normal for any highschool teenager added the twist and new perspective to mythical creatures. I just love her originality with vampires and werefolves. I think I'll be done with this book by tommorow. Hoping to finish the series this month. I hope the last book doesn't dissapoint.
